"When Partners in Torah began at Adat almost three years ago, I came to the first session looking for a Talmud Chacham to be a Torah Partner. On my way in, I bumped into Mark Brunswick who is a Talmud Chacham extraordinaire, and he was looking for someone to be matched with who could understand -- or at least tolerate - his Queen's English. Since I fit his bill and he fit my bill, we agreed to try a couple of sessions together. Mark asked me if I were interested in contemporary applications of Halacha, and we have been studying this ever since. Our Havruta has become a small and interactive class of 4-5 people (with occasional visitors), and it always produces a discussion that is stimulating and instructive."
